From the O & A Task Force

On January 11th we will be having just one service.  We will have guest speakers from the organization PFLAG – Parents, Family & Friends of Lesbian & Gays. These parents are coming from the UCC So. Glastonbury Congregational Church and First Church of Christ Congregational in Glastonbury . They will be sharing their personal experiences parenting gay children. After the service we will have a question and answer session and lunch. This is the first of several programs in our effort to provide information to you as our journey towards open and affirming continues.

First Church Stewardship Campaign Progress

The Fall 2008 Stewardship Campaign has reach 91% of its goal, however, that still leaves us with $27,000 or 9% remaining to be raised. If you have not already sent in your Stewardship Card please do so as soon as you can. Stewardship Card can be mailed to First Church using the labeled return envelope enclosed in your letter.  Or, you may place your Stewardship Card in the box on the table outside Cook Hall. Copies of all Stewardship information may be viewed on and downloaded from the resources page.
